Telematics Jedi Knight, NavTrak, has just launched two new services designed to make life on the road (and off) just that little bit easier. The first, TrafficWatch, provides a real-time, route-specific traffic incident alert service and the second, NavTrak Proactive, is an intelligent security service using a unique driver-recognition system, both of which offer value for money and peace of mind.
Traffic updates, using TrafficWatchm are delivered via your mobile pgone and will cost you £1.99 per journey, while updates on traffic conditons cost 99p per minute with a minimum charge of 33p.

NavTrak Proactive Security works by touching a unique keycard to a sensor positioned somewhere in your car. If the engine is started by an unauthorised driver the car will send a silent alert to NavTrak which, in turn will alert both the customer and the police. The cost will be an additional £5 per month over and above the £9.99 monthly subscription package.
